Luna currently does NOT collect any data. The app operates entirely offline with respect to data processing and analytics.

Zero Data Collection

No analytics, no tracking, no usage statistics, no crash reports, and no performance metrics are collected or transmitted to any server.

2. What This Means for You

Because Luna collects no data:

  • Your cycle data never leaves your device
  • We don't track how you use the app
  • We don't track which features you use or don't use
  • We don't collect crash reports or error logs
  • We don't track app performance metrics
  • We don't serve ads or use third-party tracking

3. Future Analytics (Opt-In Only)

We may consider adding optional, anonymous analytics in the future to help improve the app. If we do:

  • It will be opt-in only — You must explicitly consent
  • It will be anonymous — No personally identifiable information
  • It will be minimal — Only essential metrics for improvement
  • You can opt-out at any time — In app settings
  • Health data will NEVER be collected — Even with analytics enabled

4. What Future Analytics Might Include

If we implement optional analytics, we may collect:

  • Anonymous app version information
  • General device type (e.g., "iPhone" without specific model)
  • Basic usage patterns (e.g., "screen opened 5 times")
  • Anonymous crash reports (if you choose to send them)

What Will NEVER Be Collected

  • Your cycle data or health information
  • Your name, email, or any personal identifiers
  • Location data
  • Device-specific identifiers (IDFA, etc.)
  • Any data that could identify you personally

5. Why We Might Add Analytics

The only reason we would consider adding analytics is to improve Luna for everyone. This could include:

  • Understanding which features are most useful
  • Identifying and fixing bugs faster
  • Optimizing app performance
  • Making informed decisions about future features

6. Your Control Over Your Data

You are always in control:

  • Current: No data collection means nothing to control
  • Future: If analytics are added, you'll have clear opt-in/opt-out controls
  • Transparency: Any changes will be clearly communicated
  • Access: You can export your data at any time
  • Deletion: You can delete the app to remove all data
